Life seemed easy from when we were younger, even though we weren’t born with a silver spoon. We had seen ourselves in the future prospering, living la Vida Loca. It all seemed so promising and smooth, then we became adults, we grew up and things went south.
It didn’t turn south for everyone though, some had it easy, some struggled for a while and things became better. Some of us are struggling but it’s getting easier, some are struggling and others can’t take it anymore and have given up.
As sad as life is, the situation of our environment isn’t doing us any better. People are getting sadder by the day and it’s turning the world dark.
It’s not funny when you don’t have it all together, but there are some things we can’t control. The only thing we can do is our best and staying positive. I understand that it’s not easy doing these things or pretending not to care about our situations, but it is not okay to suffer alone either.
I am always for speaking out. Let someone be your comfort, the weight becomes less heavy when we share. Remember that we don’t share just to get our problems solved, sometimes, what we get are comforting words and some motivation, and trust me, they go a long way.
Whatever you are going through, be it job issues, accommodation, relationships, admission, spiritual deficiency, broken marriage, childlessness, etc. I want to assure you that you are not alone, and whatever your situation is or are, you are steps ahead of some people.
Gratitude in hard times can be hard, but I promise you, that’s the best we can do. Let’s be grateful for life, for air, for clothing, shelter, meager salary jobs, lenders, and good friends.
Don’t choose to do this life alone, we need all the support, comfort and love we can get and also give. We go dey alright..
Don’t give up on God, He will never give up on you.
